RMS ii, no.521, pp.117–118, 12 January 1451/52, confirms Robert Boyd’s 10 January conveyance of a quarter of Yester, Duncanlaw and Morham baronies to David Hay, within Haddington constabulary, sheriffdom of Edinburgh. No.1359 (3 February 1477/78) also names Yestir in that group. Printed entries inspected.
